A different kind of dog photography session

All dogs are cute. Of course they are. But that’s not all they are. And that’s not what our dog photography in London is about.

This isn’t about perfect behaviour, or getting your dog to “perform”. They don’t need to sit still. They don’t need to look at the camera. They don’t need to be anything other than themselves. And each session is built around that. We move through London slowly, choosing spaces that work, and letting your dog settle into them in their own way.

No pressure. No expectations. But observation, adjustment, and a bit of patience.

1. Before the session

Once you’ve booked, we’ll have a short video call to get to know you and your dog. We’ll talk through locations, expectations (or lack of them), and how the session will feel. You don’t need to have everything figured out. That’s what I’m here for.

2. The session

Sessions take place outdoors in London and last around 1 to 1.5 hours. Your dog is gently guided into position, but never forced. We let them move, adjust, look around, and exist within the space. And I adjust with them. That’s usually where the portrait appears.

3. the black and white

After that, it’s my turn. I’ll curate and retouch the portraits, letting the black and white do what it does best: reveal the form without distraction. This part usually takes about a week. Then I’ll be in touch to schedule your Artwork Design & Ordering session, and show you what we created together.

4. After the session

Then, we design. You’ll choose a time for your online one-to-one Artwork Design & Ordering session, during which we’ll walk through your images together. We’ll talk favourites, layouts, framing, and how each piece might live in your space. From there, you can select your included artwork and add additional pieces if you wish.

5. the artwork

And then, it arrives. Your dog’s portrait, now artwork, delivered to your door, ready to live with you. Not just to decorate a wall, but to shift the space. To become part of the rhythm. To stay.
